Annual night hike features Alice’s Wonderland

Oct 10, 2017

Oakland Mills Nature Center’s annual night hike will take place Monday, Oct. 23, from 6 to 7:30 p.m.

This year’s theme is Alice’s Wonderland, where hikers can meet Alice, the Cheshire Cat, the Mad Hatter, Caterpillar and even the Queen of Hearts. The night hike is a series of short skits that will focus on certain wonders of nature by costumed actors. All ages are invited.

This is an educational and fun outdoor walk on a hard surface. It is not scary. Children must be accompanied by an adult, but adults do not have to have a child to join. Reservations are not necessary for this free event. It is come and go as you please. There will be door prizes and snacks in the nature center.

This presentation is at Oakland Mills County Park rain or shine. Skits will be held inside at the nature center in the event of inclement weather.
