After a short vacation, the Dorcas group met at the home of Wilma McAllister with 14 ladies present on Monday, June 24. The projects of the day consisted of completing 26 T-shirt dresses, tying two quilts, completing two tops ready to have the backing put on and laying out blocks for four quilts to be sewn together at the next meeting.

While McAllister was on vacation, she and her daughter, Chris, completed a prayer quilt that was presented to Frieda Finke. All the ladies and Pastor Jason helped hem the quilt as they prayed for her.

The Wyman Community Club met on Monday, July 1, for an 11:30 a.m. luncheon at the Ainsworth Four Corners with 16 present.

The secretary and treasurer’s reports were read and approved.
