Wednesday study club met at the home of Clarissa Malmberg on, March 19 with 15 members present. 
Two guests, Begimai Aibekova from Kyrgyzstan and Bruna Alves-Bucholtz from Brazil were also present and presented the program for the afternoon. 
The girls are foreign exchange students and are seniors at WACO High School and both live with families in Crawfordsville. They told of their homeland, their home schools, their reasons for coming to America and their hopes for the future, and more.
Marie Dare was the co-hostess for the meeting and Ruth Erwin provided transportation for the girls.
Refreshments and visiting completed the afternoon.
The club’s next meeting will be Wednesday, April 16, with Ruth Erwin.
The Crawfordsville Fire and EMS will host a breakfast from 6 to 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 5, at the Crawfordsville Fire Station/City Hall.
Following the breakfast the Crawfordsville community club and Crawfordsville Lions Club will host an Easter egg hunt at 10 a.m. at the WACO Elementary School in Crawfordsville.
