The family of Pierce DuVall, of West Chester, invites everyone to an appreciation dinner to celebrate him being cancer free on Saturday, Aug. 12 from 4 — 9 p.m., at the West Chester Heritage Building.

Pierce is the 16 1/2-month old son of Nick and Leslie Blum DuVall, of West Chester, and was diagnosed with Hepatoblastoma (Liver Cancer) when he was 6 months old, He has had several rounds of chemotherapy and surgery to remove the tumor in his liver and is at last cancer free.

The family appreciates everyone’s generosity and benefits held for him and wish to reciprocate with this dinner.

Pierce is the grandson of Mickey Blum and the nephew of Ruchel and Don Hiller, of Crawfordsville.

The United Church Women ask that those contributing to their Fall Rummage Sale to be held August 31, September 1 and 2 wait until August 14 to bring items to the church. Items accepted are clothing, shoes, books, toys, household items and miscellaneous.
