Dallas Dean Dunbar, 71, Wyman, died March 7, 2014, at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City.

Funeral services will be Thursday, March 13, at 10:30 a.m. at the United Methodist Church in Winfield, with the Rev. Randy Moser officiating. Burial will follow at the Crawfordsville Cemetery.

Visitation with the family present will be Wednesday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Honts Funeral Home in Winfield. A general memorial has been established.

The son of Boyd and Jean (Martin) Dunbar, he was born July 4, 1942, in Washington county. He attended the Keota school. He was a trucker. At the time of his death, he was working for Kenny and Michelle Stone trucking in Wapello. He enjoyed his dogs, riding his Harley, watching NASCAR and spending time with his family.

Survivors include three daughters, Jeanne (Randy) Thiede of Woodstock, Ill., Diane Dunbar of Iowa City, Misty (Nathan Graber) Dawn of Wyman; two sons, Anthony (Tracy) Dunbar of Winfield, Timothy (Joyce) Dunbar of Wyman; 16 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; two brothers, Allen Dunbar and Glenn Dunbar.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Gladys; his second wife, Donna Flake Dunbar; and two daughters, Pattie and Deana Marie Dunbar.
