Evelyn P. Vinton, 85, Wayland, formerly of Coppock, died Monday, May 20, 2013, at the Parkview Home in Wayland.

Graveside Services have been set for 10:30 a.m. Friday, May 24, at the Elm Grove Cemetery with the Rev. Betsey Neipert officiating. A memorial fund has been established for the Parkview Home in Wayland.

Beatty Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.

She was born Dec. 30, 1927, in Coppock, and was the daughter of Gleede and Helen (McCarty) Dold. She graduated from Wayland High School. She married Charles Gene Vinton on May 15, 1965, in Letts. She was a lifelong resident of Coppock and taught music lessons at the Everett Music Store in Washington. She taught piano, accordian, organ and guitar. She was a member of the Cottonwood United Methodist Church and enjoyed music, cats, quilting, gardening and being active at church.

She is survived by her sister, Corrine (Rex) Sinn of Wayland.

Preceding her in death were her parents and her husband, Charles.
