CEDAR RAPIDS — The high school basketball season may feel long gone, but some of Henry County’s athletes are still showing their skills at weekend All-Star games, and a couple of stars from WACO and Winfield-Mt. Union were doing just that on Sunday.

W-MU post Lexee Hartsock and WACO guard Kiana Miller, both seniors, were present at the Iowa Girls’ Coaches Association/Niemeyer All-Star games, which featured some of the top players in Classes 1A and 2A.

Both Hartsock and Miller played for the Class 1A “White Team” in a game against the Class 1A “Gray Team.” Hartsock reached double digits, scoring 12 points in an 80-63 loss. Miller finished the game with four points.

Hartsock also played for the Class 1A “Select” team, which fell to the Class 2A “Select” team 87-84. Hartsock hit one shot in that game and finished the game with two points.
