Helen Darlene Gildersleeve, 92, Washington, died Wednesday Jan. 29, 2014, at the Washington County Hospital.

Funeral services will be Saturday, Feb. 1, 2014, at 10:30 a.m. at the Honts Funeral Home in Winfield, with the Rev. James Huston officiating. Burial will follow at the Beauchamp Cemetery southwest of Wyman. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorials have been established for the United Presbyterian Home in Washington and the Winfield Congregate Meals.

The daughter of Michael D. and Bernice O. (Thompson) See, she was born Jan. 12, 1922, at Washington. On Nov. 10, 1939, she married Harold Huston. He preceded her in death. On Feb. 17, 1979, she married John Davison. He preceded her in death. She married Charles Russell Gildersleeve on Dec. 31, 1988. He preceded her in death. She was employed at McCleery-Cummings Calendar Factory in Washington for 27 years. She was a member of the American Legion Auxilliary and the Rebekka Lodge.

Survivors include four sons, Mahlon Huston of Rocky Comfort, Mo., Gary Huston and Melvin Huston both of Winfield and Kirk Huston of Pella; 15 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; 20 great-great-grandchildren; and one brother, Max See of Washington.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, two sisters, two brothers and one grandchild.
