Hillsboro community news

Jul 18, 2017

Mark your calendars. There are two events to attend Saturday, Aug. 12, for Hillsboro residents:

The children of Ernie Reinier will be hosting an 80th birthday celebration for their dad on Aug. 12, at the Hillsboro Community Center from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Come help Ernie celebrate his birthday and share a memory. Brunch will be served. Any of the Hillsboro School reunion attendees are welcome to stop by and view the class photos that are at the Community Center during the birthday celebration. If you went to school with Ernie tell him happy birthday.

The Hillsboro School Reunion will be on Saturday, Aug. 12, at the Houghton Knights of Columbus Hall in Houghton. The doors will open at 4 p.m., with dinner served at 6 p.m. The cost of the dinner is $15.00 and you pay at the door. Please call Doris Onorato at 319-258-2503 or Mike Bellile at 515-314-0764 to make reservations. Please make reservations as soon as possible so there will be enough food prepared.
