International Peacemaker from Malawi speaking at First Presbyterian Church

Sep 19, 2017

Mphatso Mary Nguluwe of Malawi will be speaking at First Presbyterian Church on Wednesday, Sept. 27, at 6:30 p.m.

Nguluwe will present her work to change cultural practices that put girls at risk of abuse, human trafficking and HIV infection. She holds degrees in nursing education, administration and community nursing science and midwifery and is a researcher in community development work.

Nguluwe is a part of International Peacemakers. Since 1984, over 220 International Peacemakers from 57 countries have been hosted by people in the Presbyterian church. These visits have opened hearts and minds, touched lives, established relationships and inspired new ministries. By sharing stories of their work and witness, International Peacemakers help people understand peace and justice concerns around the world.
