The Iowa Wesleyan women’s soccer team had a tough time stopping the Simpson College offense on Monday evening. The Storm generated a flurry of rushes towards the net and took down the Tigers 8-0 at East Lake Park in Mt. Pleasant.

IW kept the game at a four-goal deficit for the next 36 minutes of game time but the Storm eventually stretched the lead to 6-0 with two goals within two minutes in the second half.

Simpson tacked on two more goals later in the half and ended the score at 8-0.

The Tigers finished the game with just two total shots and one shot on goal. Grace Alongi had both shots in the loss.
