Former Mt. Pleasant football player and current NFL player Henry Krieger-Coble will be wearing different colors this season.

The tight end, entering his second season in the pros, was waived by the Denver Broncos this weekend and almost immediately claimed by the Indianapolis Colts.

Krieger-Coble caught one pass for 13 yards during the 2016 season after working his way from the practice squad to getting regular season playing time.

He is one of six tight ends currently on the Colts roster, which means a training camp battle will be on to determine how many of them will make the team.

Krieger-Coble was a 2011 graduate at Mt. Pleasant, where he led the team in receptions, receiving yards and receiving touchdowns. He also played four years of college football at the University of Iowa.
