Linda Lee Woodall Riha, 66, of Shellsburg, died on Friday, Jan. 27, 2017, at the University of Iowa Hospitals, in Iowa City.

The funeral service for Riha will be held at 11 a.m., on Wednesday, Feb. 1, at Elliott Chapel, in New London. Rev. Ken Smith will officiate. Interment will follow the service at Pleasant Grove Cemetery, in rural Danville. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.

Riha was born on Sept. 18, 1950, in Fairfield, the daughter of Frank and Donna McCannon Woodall. On June 25, 1994, she married Dale Riha, in New London. She was a 1968 graduate of Burlington High School.

She was an office manager.

She enjoyed competitive drag racing, winning the Indianapolis Good Guys Race, spending winters in Arizona, where she enjoyed riding ATVs, painting, and spending time with her family and friends.

Riha is survived by her husband; her mother, Donna Baker, of New London; her daughter, Brandi (Kendall) Irvin, of Cedar Rapids; her step-children, Michelle (Andrew) Kimm, of Amana, and Chris (Jessica) Riha, of Cedar Rapids; her sister, Judy (Dean) Messer, of Colorado; and her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father.
