By Ashlee De Wit | Jan 30, 2014

The Mt. Pleasant JV boys’ basketball team beat Keokuk 69-52 on Friday night.

“That was the best the team has played all year for four quarters,” Coach Tyler Rodgers said. “We got off to a good start and continued it till the last buzzer. I was impressed, and hopefully we can continue to play at that level.”

Keegan Pullis led the scoring with 17 points, followed by Nathan McConnell and Spencer White with 12 and 11 points, respectively.

“No other stats were kept, but we crashed the boards hard and distributed the ball well all night without turning it over,” Rodgers said.
