Midwest Old Threshers has a new addition to its staff. Mt. Pleasant native Grant Davidson has been named as the public relations and marketing coordinator for the Midwest Old Threshers.

Davidson, a 2015 graduate of Indian Hills Community College, had recently been working as part of an internship program at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Fla.

“Old Threshers is excited to have Grant join our team,” said Midwest Old Threshers CEO Terry McWilliams.

Having grown up in Mt. Pleasant, Davidson has attended the Midwest Old Threshers Reunion almost every year. Davidson recalls volunteering for many of the events that take place on the Old Threshers’ grounds, including Thrashers House of Terror, Midwest Haunted Rails and working at the antique building during the summertime reunion. Davidson even completed his Eagle Scout project with Midwest Old Threshers during their Haunted Rails event in 2009.

“I am excited to start the next chapter of my life with Old Threshers,” said Davidson. Old Threshers has been a big part of my life for many years and I have wanted to work with them for a long time.”
