MP wrestlers go unbeaten at West Burlington duals

WEST BURLINGTON — The Mt. Pleasant wrestling team had a dominant day in West Burlington on Tuesday.

The Panthers went 5-0 at the West Burlington duals, defeating Burlington (40-22), Cardinal (63-18), Louisa-Muscatine (39-36), West Burlington/Notre Dame/Danville (70-11) and Pekin (54-21).

Mt. Pleasant moved to an impressive 13-1 in duals this season and will be back in action on Thursday, Jan. 5, at home against Mediapolis. That dual is set to start at 6:30 p.m.
