The Mt. Pleasant boys’ soccer team closed out their conference schedule with a win on Thursday, May 10, topping Washington 4-1. The win helped the Panthers lock up second place in the Southeast Conference, finishing the year 6-2 in league play.

The Panthers had the only two goals of the first half. Ovidio Reyes broke the scoreless tie to make it 1-0 and Carlos Figueroa-Garcia picked up a goal off an assist from Cade Warner.

In the second half, Reyes put in his second goal of the game, getting an assist from Hoi Phung. Warner assisted Medina for the Panthers’ fourth goal later on in the second half.
