The 2017 Henry County Leadership Class kicks off this fall, designed to provide Henry County communities with an enduring source of diverse leaders who are prepared and committed to serving their region.

As a skills-building program, Henry County Leadership aims to identify and motivate emerging community leaders, provide an educational experience with a strong emphasis on both leadership skills and community awareness, and challenge participants to apply their talents within their community while providing an opportunity to become involved.

The 2017 Henry County Leadership Class includes the following people: Tim Egli, Egli Landscapes, Inc.; Katherine Evans, Iowa Wesleyan University; Kadie Johannson, Simply Thrive; Weight Loss Center of SEIA; Mary Koontz, 5-Star Community Credit Union; Katelyn McArtor, Great Western Bank; Blake Radel, Team Staffing Solutions, Inc.; Tyler Rogers, Mt. Pleasant High School; Karyn Spory, The Mt. Pleasant News; Traci Vantiger, ISU Extension and Outreach-Henry County; Alicia Whalen, Two Rivers Bank and Trust; Derek Zander, Iowa Wesleyan University.
