Randolph Dier "Randy" Teboe

Randolph Dier "Randy" Teboe, Mt. Pleasant, Iowa, passed away Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at 3:06 a.m. at the University of Iowa Hospital.


He was born October 15, 1944 to Louis and Rachel (Sunn) Tebo in Winnebago, Neb. He went to school in Winnebago, Neb.; Sioux City, Iowa; and Mission, S.D. He received his GED in Lincoln, Neb. He married Carlotta Wright in Sioux City, Iowa. They had three children and later divorced. He married Tracey Carstenson and they divorced. He then married Donna "Dixie" Madison; she passed away from cancer. He then married Ingrid (Hayes) Ruddy of Mt. Pleasant, Iowa.


Randy worked for 10 years for Container Corp. as a press operator, had many welding and construction jobs around the Sioux City area, for Apache Manufacturing, Dietz Pump and Weld, drove a truck for Norfolk Iron & Metal and Deitloft Trucking in Norfolk, Neb. After moving to Iowa he drove a truck for Shellman & Sons out of Winfield, Iowa, retiring in March of 2010.


Randy liked to fish and watch TV. He had special artistic talent drawing and painting. And he loved music. He knew words to almost every song from the 50s, 60s and every country song! He had a good voice and loved to sing along. His sense of humor was loved by all who knew him. He helped count money for Old Threshers for a number of years and was proud to help one of his favorite charities, The Fellowship Cup, by doing it. He delivered Meals on Wheels for a few years and also drove for RSVP, taking people to doctor appointments in a 50-mile area.


Randy was a grateful member of the AA fellowship, making many friends and helping others through his 29 years as a friend of Bill W. and Dr. Bob.


Randy is survived by his wife, Ingrid; son, Randolph, Jr. of Sioux City, Iowa; son, Rafael (Thomas) of Sioux City, Iowa; step-daughters, Dea Dea (Ricky) Sporleter and Dawn Wright, Michelle Kissee; step-sons, Patrick Harlan, Jay (Melissa) Kallenberger and Mike Morgan. He also has seven grandchildren, 11 step-grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.


He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Brandyalyn; brothers, Louis Jr., Billy, Jerry, Richard, Conrad, Frank, Tom Wadena; and sisters, Marge, Clara, and Marcia.


Services were held Saturday, May 5, at 2 p.m. at the Blackhawk Center in Winnebago, Neb., with burial in the Tribal Cemetery. The family will plan a memorial service in Mt. Pleasant at a future date to be announced.
