Robert Floyd Keller

Robert Floyd Keller, 85, of rural Stockport, died on Thursday, Dec. 29, 2016, at home.

In accordance with his wishes, his body has been cremated and a memorial service will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 4, 2017, at 10:30 a.m., at Bonaparte Baptist Church, with Rev. Mark Caston officiating. Visitation will open at 3 p.m., on Tuesday, at Pedrick Funeral Home, in Keosauqua, with family present from 6 to 8 p.m. Burial of cremains will be at a later date in Spencer Cemetery, in Stockport.

Memorials to Bonaparte Baptist Church or HCI Hospice may be left at the funeral home, church or mailed to the family at 15934 Peach Avenue, Stockport, Iowa 52651.

Keller was born on July 11, 1931, in Stockport, the son of Floyd R. and Aura L Bradfield Keller. He graduated from Stockport High School in 1949. He married Lois E. Niederhuth on Dec. 5, 1954, in Stockport.

He worked as a farmer and stockman. He also served in the National Guard, in Fairfield, for 10 years.

He was a member of Bonaparte Baptist Church.

He enjoyed being outdoors, hunting, fishing and gardening.

Keller is survived by his wife, Lois; a son, Robert Alan (LeaAnn) Keller, of Amissville, Va.; two daughters, Deanna Sue (Mark) Temple, of Columbia, Mo.; and Laurie Lynn (Kenneth) Glover, of Ottumwa; a brother, Richard (Joyce) Keller, of Fairfield; a sister, Roberta Donald, of Fairfield; 11 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
