Ronald Edmund Taglauer

Ronald Edmund Taglauer, 76, Fairfield, died at his home Oct. 30, 2013.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 2, at Hope Lutheran Church, Germanville with the Rev.Jordon Cooper officiating. Burial will be prior to the service at the Hope Lutheran Cemetery, Germanville. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, Nov. 1, at Hope Lutheran Church, Germanville.

He was born Aug. 8, 1937, to Edmund G. and E. Mildred (Lynn) Taglauer in Germanville. He married A. Nadine Guy on Feb. 20, 1960.

He lived in Fairfield and Germanville area all his life. He worked at Fairfield Engineering, Crane Valve in Washington, Wayland Carpenter Shop and Taglauer Construction. He was a member of Hope Lutheran Church, Full Gospel Businessman’s Association and was in the reserves for six months.

He is survived by his wife; four sons, Mark (Laura) Taglauer of Brighton, Brian (Sherry) Taglauer of Fairfield, Matthew (Cheri) Taglauer of Fairfield, and Marty Taglauer and Omar Leos of San Antonio, Texas; seven grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and two siblings, Richard L. Taglauer of Wayland, and Karen Alderman of Iowa City.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
