Tulips, daffodils planted around town

The Henry County Substance Abuse Coalition planted tulips and daffodils for Red Ribbon Week. In the top photo, tulips and daffodils were planted at the Mt. Pleasant Public Library with help from the Mt. Pleasant Woman’s Club – Horticulture. In the bottom photo, bulbs were also planted at the Henry County Sheriff’s Office. The Red Ribbon Campaign is the oldest and largest drug prevention campaign in the country. Red Ribbon Week takes place every year from Oct. 23 to 31.
