Virginia "Gin" Elizabeth Kramer

Virginia “Gin” Elizabeth Kramer, 91, Mt. Pleasant and formerly of Ft. Madison, died Monday, Nov. 25, 2013, at Bickford Cottage, Burlington.

Friends may call from 10 a.m. until noon on Friday, Nov. 29, at King-Lynk Funeral Home & Crematory. The funeral mass will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 29, at Ss. Mary & Joseph Church with Father Mark P. Spring officiating. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery.

She was born on Nov. 6, 1922, in Ft. Madison to Samuel E. and Margaret M. Brennan Knoch. On Sept. 21, 1940 she married William “Bud” Kramer. He preceded her in death.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of Ss. Mary & Joseph Church and the Eagles Auxiliary.

Survivors include four daughters, Barbara (Dave) Andrews of Ft. Madison, Carol (Stan) Driscoll of Douglass, Texas, Bonnie (Dan) Pillard of Battle Creek, Mich. and Diane (Mike) Prottsman of Mt. Pleasant; nine grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one son, Dale; a great-grandson; and two brothers.
