Winfield-Mt. Union students and staff showed up to school early today, chanting “Let’s Go Hawks!” or “Let’s Go ‘Clones!”

In anticipation for this weekend’s football game between Iowa and Iowa State, the entire school assembled in the gym for an all-student photo this morning, dressed in their Hawkeye and Cyclone gear.

An award was given for “Best Dressed Hawk Fan” and “Best Dressed Cyclone Fan.”

On Saturday at 1 p.m., the Winfield Economic Betterment Group is hosting an “Iowa vs. Iowa State Tailgate Party” at the new Prairie Ag Community Field and Lowe’s Sports Patio located south of the W-MU track/football field.

There will be games, contests, catering by Buffalo Wild Wings and more.
