Every week, The News will feature a Henry County resident in a profile snapshot. The questions will appear in bold.

This week’s ‘Friend on the Front Page’ is Jeff Fedler, whom you may know from Pep Stop.

Are you originally from Mt. Pleasant? If not, what brought you here? Yes.

What’s your favorite part of living here? I love seeing people you know everywhere you go.

Where’s your favorite hangout? Probably the golf course.

What do you like to do in your free time? In my free time, I pretty much play golf.

Is there an annual event in Mt. Pleasant you enjoy? I love the Festival of Lights and the North Pole Express. I have kids and I love to see their eyes light up.

Is there something Mt. Pleasant doesn’t have that you’d like to see? Fine dining.

What’s one dish or drink that reminds you of Mt. Pleasant? Tenderloins from Butch’s.

Tell us something interesting about yourself? I’m probably one of the only University of Alabama alumni in Mt. Pleasant. I ran track there and still cheer for the Crimson Tide.
